Coolest inexpensive new cars of 2011

Coolest inexpensive new cars of 2011Kelley Blue Book (KBB) recently released its picks for coolest new cars (2011 and 2012 model years) under $18,000, and people who are considering buying a car on a budget can use a car payment calculator to determine if these cars fall within their financial plans.

"There are great deals to be had on many new cars under $18,000, but only a handful of them really possess that cool, difficult-to-describe 'it' factor," said Jack Nerad, an executive market analyst for KBB, according to the Imperial Valley News.

In ascending order, the top 10 cars were the Hyundai Elantra, Nissan Cube, Volkswagen Jetta, Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Kia Forte Koup, Honda Fit, Ford Fiesta and Mazda 3. The number one pick was the 2012 Fiat 500.

Fiat only began selling its cars in the US earlier this year, after leaving the market for 27 years, USA Today reports. The 500 comes with three years of free maintenance and a four-year or 50,000-mile warranty.

If these cars are out of your price range, or if you have bad credit, you can consider applying for a used car loan to purchase an older model of one of these vehicles.
