J.D. Power says vehicle dependability is improvingWhile consumers are crunching numbers on a car loan calculator, there is one thing that they can count on: Vehicle dependability in the U.S. is better than ever.

Some individuals who are applying for a bad credit car loan may be worried about the problems that their new vehicle may pose, considering their conservative price range. However, the J.D. Power and Associates 2011 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study reveals that the dependability of domestically produced cars has improved by 19 percent over three years.

According to DailyNewsPulse.com, the J.D. Power and Associates rankings are based on the number of problems per 100 vehicles, all of which are three years old. These reviews may be of interest to individuals who are in the process of exploring various car loan rates.

The most affordable vehicles typically fall in J.D.'s midsize, sub-compact and compact car categories. In the midsize division, the organization ranked the Ford Fusion, Buick LaCrosse and Mitsubishi Galant as the most dependable models.

In the sub-compact category, the Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris and Hyundai Accent received the top rankings, while the Toyota Prius, Hyundai Elentra Sedan and Toyota Matrix scored high marks in the compact division.

Dependability is major factor for consumers who are committing to a car loan. Individuals who are applying for a bad credit car loan can especially benefit from a trustworthy vehicle because many of these buyers cannot afford to cover regular maintenance and repair costs.
