Pink Ribbon edition of Fiat 500 supports breast cancer awareness month

FIAT North America recently announced that it will be releasing a limited edition Pink Ribbon 500 just in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Italian automaker worked together with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to design the special car, of which only 250 will be produced. The special edition car, which is priced around $22,500, features a pink stripe down the side and is available in either silver or white. Inside, the pink stitching will highlight the black upholstery, and the floor mats will be embroidered with pink ribbons.

“At the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, we are constantly looking for ways to further breast cancer awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and beyond,” said Myra J. Biblowit, BCRF president. “The partnership with FIAT is especially exciting as it allows breast cancer supporters to literally drive awareness for the cause year -round. We are extremely appreciative of FIAT’s collaboration in this effort as the brand’s contributions will help fund innovative research that will advance the fight against breast cancer worldwide.”

FIAT has already committed to donating $50,000 to the BCRF, and for every one of the limited edition vehicles they sell, they will donate an additional $1,000. Since there are a limited number of these vehicles, drivers can consider using a car loan to buy a less-expensive model, as the base 500 starts around $15,500, and making their own donations and efforts to help out the BCRF.
