Consumers who are in the market for a new set of wheels may want to look to the 2012 Honda Civic, a compact car that delivers plenty of value for those with a bad credit auto loan.
There are a wide variety of editions to choose from – the vehicle is offered as a sedan, coupe, gas-electric hybrid and HF fuel-efficiency model. The automaker is also planning to release a Civic this fall that will be powered by natural gas.
All versions, however, achieve an impressive fuel economy. A test drive with the sedan showed up to 34.2 miles per gallon on the highway, the HF sedan got 29.5 miles per gallon with mixed city and highway usage and the hybrid edition ran up to 37.5 miles per gallon with combined use as well.
There are two powertrain options available – the first of which is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 140 hp and 128 lb-ft of torqe. The Si trim is equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder motor that generates 201 hp and 170 lb-ft torque.
To determine whether one is able to purchase the latest edition of the Honda Civic, consumers should use a car loan payment calculator.
