How do IFMG and IFA protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.

How do IFMG and IFA collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you
• apply for financing or apply for a loan
• provide employment information or give us your income information
• give us your contact information
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.

Why can’t I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only
• sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness
• affiliates from using your information to market to you
• sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you
State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. See below for more on your rights under state law.

What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else?

Your choices will apply to everyone on your account.

Definitions

Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
IFA and IFMG are affiliates. Our other affiliates include all of the Dominion Enterprises and InterActive companies.

Nonaffiliates

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
Nonaffiliates we share with can include dealers, retailers, vehicle service contract and insurance providers, banks, finance companies, direct marketing companies, and their service providers.

Joint Marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
IFMG and IFA do not jointly market.

Other important information

California & Vermont Residents: If our records show your address is in California, we will not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, except with your express consent or as permitted by law. If our records show your address is in Vermont, we will not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties or our affiliates, except with your express consent or as permitted by law. Your information sharing consent must be in writing or, if you agree, in electronic form.

Texas Residents: InterActive Financial Acceptance LLC is licensed and examined under the laws of the State of Texas and by state law is subject to regulatory oversight by the Office of the Consumer Credit Commissioner.
