The 2011 International New York Auto Show took place last week, with automakers showcasing their latest editions of the hottest vehicles on the market. MSN Autos has compiled a list of the best cars that were shown at the annual trade event.
The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu made waves at the show, as the midsize sedan now sports "Corvette-inspired bulging rear fenders and four distinct taillights." It is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that revs up to 190, and will be available as a hybrid model in the future.
Ford also made the list with its 2013 Taurus SHO, which offers higher performance than previous models. Not only has the steering and brake systems been upgraded to improve dynamics, but the suspension and other exterior features have been revised as well. The Taurus will reportedly be available for purchase next spring.
The 2012 edition of the Honda Civic also wowed the folks at MSN Autos, with its extensive selection of powertrains and new hybrid option. The news source reports that this model has more power and better fuel economy than the 2011 version.
