Each year, car rating website IntelliChoice.com reveals its list of the Best Overall Value of the Year (BOVY) awards. Despite negative news of recalls and dipping market shares, Toyota reigned supreme for the 2011 model year, according to MSN Autos.
Taking home a total of 11 awards out of 20, the automaker won for the Prius hybrid hatchback, Avalon sedan, RAV4 compact crossover, Sienna minivan, 4Runner SUV, Tacoma compact pickup and the Tundra full-size pickup truck.
General Motors, MINI and Volvo each received two awards, while Infiniti, Subaru, Audi and Honda were honorable nominees, MSN Autos reports.
Lexus, Toyota's luxury segment, also received honors for four of its vehicles. The GX 460 full-size SUV, RX 350 crossover, IS 250 compact car and the IS 250C convertible all won for their excellence in overall design, comfort and more.
The slew of accolades should help those with car loans narrow down their vehicle choices, especially consumers with bad credit auto loans who want a quality vehicle that won't bog down their bank accounts with high maintenance costs.
